Born and raised in a south London suburb, I left school at 16 and worked for a small private bank in Fleet Street for nearly thirty years. I left banking to take my A levels which I passed and then became an undergrad at the London School of Economics reading economic history. Whilst at university I worked out the plot for A MEMORY OF LIES and decided that it had to be written. I am now working on the sequel and have a third novel in mind. These days I live on the Wiltshire/Dorset borders.
